Club and School Pedagogue

Are you our new club educator?

Skovgårdsskolen is looking for a pedagogue for the Club and School for 4th-6th grade.

The club is a place where children should have fun, be with friends and try new things. We focus on community, good relationships and lots of activities. We go on trips, host great events, throw parties and create activities where the children can be active and creative together with the adults.

We also have an after-school club 2-3 times a week, where we push the activities and coziness further.

We are seeking a pedagogue who is passionate about creating good experiences for the children, and who is keen to contribute ideas and activities. The most important thing for us is that you are engaged, positive, collaborative and want to be part of the community.

A school with good opportunities

Skovgårdsskolen is located in scenic surroundings in Charlottenlund, close to Dyrehaven. We have our own outdoor areas with, among other things, forest, nature park, chickens and rabbits.

In the afternoon you can use the school’s subject rooms, sports facilities, music studio and media room for activities with the children.

During part of your working time you will have hours at the school. As a school pedagogue, we value that you are willing to take responsibility both academically and in terms of well-being and that you wish to inspire and be inspired by others. It is important that you are prepared for close collaboration with the teacher with co-teaching as the central point of the teaching.

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as a pedagogue
• Wants to work with children aged 9-13
• Is cheerful, positive, proactive and has a sense of humor
• Wants to initiate activities and participate actively
• Is good at collaborating and staying calm in stressful situations
• Is clear in your communication with children, parents and colleagues
• Is reliable and takes responsibility
• Thrives in a large and engaged staff community

The position is 30-37 hours per week and generally runs from 8 AM to 5 PM (Fridays until 4 PM). The after-school club can extend until 8 PM.

Start: As soon as possible

Salary and employment follow applicable collective agreement. A criminal record and child-care certificate will be obtained upon employment.
