Electrician / switchboard construction

Electrician / switchboard builder – Aabybro

Here you get the chance to screw, assemble and build electrical switchboards that are a central part of the company’s own machines and production equipment – not school projects, but panels that keep a modern production running every day. We are looking for an electrician or a person with solid experience in switchboard building, who wants a stable job in Aabybro with a focus on quality, reliability and good craftsmanship.

• Construction and assembly of switchboards for the company’s own machines and production equipment
• Cable routing, mounting components and electrical installation in switchboards according to drawings and specifications
• Troubleshooting and testing of switchboards so that production runs stably and safely
• Ongoing adjustment and optimization of switchboards in line with changes in the production apparatus
• Documentation of work and updating of relevant systems
• Close collaboration with colleagues in production and project managers on concrete machine solutions

What you should be able to

We are looking for someone who knows their craft and at the same time is down-to-earth and easy to talk to – both with the colleague in the switchboard workshop and with the operator at the machine. You don't need to be a master of everything, but you should want to learn new things and take responsibility for ensuring the switchboards function in daily operation. You will work with both standard solutions and special tasks where switchboard building directly affects how the company’s production runs.

• Qualified electrician or solid practical experience with switchboard building
• Can read and understand electrical diagrams and working drawings for machines and plants
• Works in a structured way with a focus on quality, safety and reliability
• Is reliable, collaborative and thrives in an informal, but professional environment
• Wants to follow “their” switchboards and machines over time and improve them continuously

Who we envision you to be

You are the type who would rather do things properly the first time than have to fix ad hoc later – especially when you know the switchboard must withstand daily operation on the same machines. You can work independently, but also enjoy being part of a team where you can lend a hand if the neighbor is behind. You thrive in a practical everyday life where you can see the direct result of your work, and you appreciate arriving at the same place every day and knowing your machines and systems well.

• Thrives with practical work and is comfortable with tools and electrical components in hand
• Has attention to detail without drowning in perfectionism
• Is curious about new solutions and open to trying smarter ways to build switchboards
• Communicates clearly and respectfully with colleagues, production and management
