About the job

Do you find it exciting to help ensure that pupils and students with disabilities receive the right support so they can complete an education on an equal footing with others? Do you have a knack for applying your legal knowledge and at the same time support colleagues with other professional backgrounds in their tasks? Then it’s you we’re looking for! We are currently seeking a lawyer for the Office for Special Pedagogical Support in the Agency for Education and Quality.

Your tasks

As our new colleague you will become part of the office’s legal team, which works to ensure the correct legal framework in the special pedagogical support schemes (SPS schemes). You will handle a wide range of legal tasks both in relation to administration and development of the SPS area.

One of your main tasks will consist of conducting tenders regarding suppliers of services and assistive devices for recipients of special pedagogical support. Here you will take a project leadership role, where you in close cooperation with the office’s other teams must prepare tender materials and enter into contracts with the suppliers.

In addition, you will generally play an important role in supporting several of the office’s other teams. Tasks are carried out in close cooperation with the other colleagues in the team and the office.

You will, among other things, come to

  • Carry out public tenders and enter into contracts with suppliers in the area
  • Ensure operation and compliance of contracts and framework agreements with providers of special pedagogical services through ongoing supplier contact and dialogue meetings
  • Answer general legal interpretation questions
  • Advise on the rules in the area and work with administrative-law questions
  • Collaborate across disciplines, e.g., with regard to applications for SPS and appeals against decisions
  • Draft regulations, particularly in relation to the preparation and revision of regulations in the area

About you

You have a legal master’s degree, e.g., cand.jur. or cand.merc.(jur.). It is an advantage if you have experience with public administration and conducting public tenders, but it is not a requirement.

In addition we value that you

  • Can formulate yourself clearly and unambiguously in writing.
  • Are systematic and analytical in your approach to tasks.
  • Can maintain an overview while also having an eye for detail.
  • Take responsibility and have good collaboration skills.
  • Can create good relations with external partners and can represent the agency externally.
