About the job

Would you like to be part of a strong, mobile night team where presence, professionalism and safety are in the spotlight? In Randers Municipality, we are seeking an engaged nurse who thrives on working independently and making a meaningful difference for our citizens in their own homes at night.

About the job

As a mobile night shift, you play a central role in ensuring that citizens receive the necessary care and welfare when the need arises. You work independently, but always have close backing from an experienced team and a fixed coordinator on the shift, who manages driving, emergency calls and the duty phone.

  • We drive 9-10 vehicles out each night in a multidisciplinary collaboration between nurses, social- and health-care assistants and social- and health-care helpers.
  • You handle both acute and referred nursing tasks, palliation, and prevention of hospital admissions.

We offer you

  • An exciting and challenging job with great professional freedom and autonomy.
  • Strong communities through fixed learning teams and valuable mono-disciplinary sparring that enhances professionalism.
  • A thorough introduction and close onboarding so you feel completely secure.
  • A supportive staff group with a good working environment and strong influence on your own duty roster.
  • Good opportunities for professional and personal development.

We are looking for someone who

  • Is a trained nurse and has experience with independent work.
  • Possesses strong clinical competencies and remains calm in acute situations.
  • Is empathetic, communicates clearly and values good collaboration.
  • Is responsible, flexible and happy to work at night.

Employment terms

  • The position: 28-30 hours per week.
  • Salary and terms: Aligns with the applicable collective agreement.
  • Application deadline: 16 October 2026.
  • Start date: As soon as possible.
  • Interviews: Will be held on an ongoing basis.
