Most weight loss programs treat a complex problem as a simple one. We don't. Weight is shaped by genetics, hormones, habits, psychology, relationships and the life you actually live. Embla builds care around all of it - medication as the starting point, structured behavioural coaching and a dedicated care team as the thing that makes it last. We started as a weight loss clinic in Copenhagen. Today our method is published, presented internationally and delivered across continents, with results among the strongest in the field. Our focus now is the United States, where our teams travel across the country to build the partnerships that put this care in front of the people who need it. Who you'd be working with Engineers, designers and data people, sitting alongside doctors, nurses, health coaches and psychologists. Not as a service function - as the same team. Clinicians shape the product. Engineers sit in on care discussions. You will ship things that a coach uses on Monday and a member feels on Tuesday. We are ambitious about outcomes and relaxed about everything else. Direct feedback, low ego, high trust, and a real sense of humour about the hard days. Where we're going Treating obesity is where we started. Preventing it is where this goes. The same care model that reverses metabolic disease can stop it from taking hold in the first place, and that is the future we are building towards - a healthier one, at a scale that actually moves the numbers. Obesity care is being rebuilt right now, and most of what gets built will be thin. We are going the other way. The molecule is the starting point. The care is the medicine. Come build it with us.
