12-month fixed-term position as a specialist physician at the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, North Zealand Hospital, Hillerød

The position is available for occupancy on 1.12.26 or by arrangement.

The position is intended to be filled by a applicant who

• is a specialist in pediatrics
• has interest and experience in general pediatrics, including acute pediatrics
• has experience with neonatology
• has drive with good organizational skills and a desire to develop further
• has good collaboration skills
• preferably experience within quality work or research

The specialist will be involved in shaping the department's professional profile both inwardly and outwardly within the areas they are attached to and collaborating across disciplines both internally and externally together with the interdisciplinary teams.

The department's needs are within acute pediatrics and currently within outpatient, the general, including the gastroenterological, but this is not fixed. The applicant will primarily be responsible for areas by driving and developing this together with the other doctors and nurses attached to the individual team.

For the position, emphasis will also be placed on the applicant possessing the relevant specialty-specific interest and possibly competencies, but all interested pediatric specialists are encouraged to apply. .

The department prioritizes development/education and a good working environment highly.

The position will be part of the department's on-call team which at present for specialists is a 16-17 shift 2-part duty with presence followed by standby duty from the on-call room. In addition there will be an extended day shift approximately every 19-20 days, in the evenings until 17-19, varying with the season.
