15 hours of practical support for a girl in first grade in the 26/27 school year

Vissenbjerg School is seeking, for the current school year, a practical support for a sweet girl who is in 1st grade. We are looking for you who love being with children, are reliable, responsible and flexible, and who see learning and well-being as prerequisites for one another.

This is a temporary position of 15 hours per week in the school year 26/27.

About us In the Funen highlands, amidst the most beautiful nature and in an engaged local community, lies Vissenbjerg School. We are a public school with 2-3 streams, a special class series, an LKT class, and a lovely after-school program (SFO). We have about 600 pupils.

Our staff is a colorful mix of ages and with different professional backgrounds, and although we are ambitious and set high expectations for ourselves and others, the atmosphere is informal, humorous and light.

We believe that we are good only when everyone is good, and we build our school on a foundation of community and creative power.

About the job You will be a practical support for a girl in 1st grade. The girl is full of drive and determination. She is socially well-functioning and she works hard on the academic side, because she has goals in life. The girl has very reduced vision and needs extra eyes when tasks are to be understood and carried out. The goal is that she gradually becomes completely independent.

In daily life, the task will be to support and guide the girl to ensure her continued development. This includes, among other things, helping her understand tasks and assisting with motorically challenging tasks.

About you As a person, you believe that everyone does the best they can, and therefore you meet others in an appreciative way. By nature you focus on the good, and you see it as your calling to bring out the potential in others. You easily form relationships, and you understand the importance of the community for learning and well-being.

The girl needs a fixed structure and a predictable daily life, so she can rely on you. In other words, you take pride in being reliable, structured and flexible. The timing of the hours can shift over the year and follows the girl's needs.
