Year 2 at Pilegårdsskolen seeks a Danish and Mathematics teacher - permanent full-time position

Are you a trained teacher, preferably with major subjects in both Danish and mathematics - then we have some lovely pupils and a good timetable for you in a permanent full-time position from 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Your teaching will primarily take place in two of our 2nd grade classes and in one of the classes you will also become the form teacher. In addition to Danish and mathematics, your timetable will include regular teaching subjects as well as resource hours. You will become a permanent part of the close team collaboration around the 2nd year group.

In primary school we work in year teams with a horizontal team structure, in contrast to the upper primary/secondary, which works in a vertical team structure from 6th-9th grade.

have a positive outlook on life and lots of good humor.

Pilegårdsskolen is one of 7 public schools in the Tårnby Municipality school system. We are about 85 teachers to 1150 students in grades 0-9. The school is located in a detached house area close to Amager Fælled and with short distance to the many open school offers in both Tårnby and Copenhagen. It has a good reputation,

experiences strong support among the district’s parents and is closely anchored in the local community.

If you are a recent graduate In Tårnby Municipality we offer, in collaboration with DLF, Section 13, an introductory program for newly graduated teachers and kindergarten leaders. This takes place in interaction with your manager, trusted representative and safety representative.

The first two years as a newly trained teacher also have reduced teaching time.

Salary and terms of employment The appointment is made in accordance with the applicable agreement with the Danish Confederation of Trade Unions (Lærernes Centralorganisation) after negotiation.

The municipality's recruitment policy entails that references are obtained from previous and current workplaces upon hiring. If you have previously worked in Tårnby Municipality, a reference will always be taken here. In addition, a police certificate must be presented and a child-safety certificate must be obtained. The employment will be conditional on these being satisfactory.
