About the job
The Family Area strengthens financial management.
For this purpose we need 2 controllers/contract negotiators.
Your main tasks
In the role as contract negotiator you will ensure uniform and transparent contract processes, high quality in collaboration with both internal and external suppliers. This combined with the role as controller, where the focus should be on financial sustainability, all based on the social-professional focus.
You will also contribute with
- Drafting and negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers, including internal and external offers
- Ongoing follow-up on existing contracts, where there is attention to price, quality, the content and scope of services, which ensures the least burdensome offers
- Good contract management, ensuring clear and durable agreements
- Build and develop relevant management information
- Support the development of the area, including proactively preparing relevant analyses
You will become part of the Secretariat in Citizen & Labor Market in Esbjerg Municipality. We are a strong team of 21 dedicated employees in the secretariat, where we are close to the political level in the municipality. You can look forward to becoming part of a department that supports the development of children, young people and adults towards an active and meaningful life in community with others.
You will also work very closely with Family Counseling, as decisions about placement are made here. Therefore you will also have workdays with physical presence in Family Counseling, just as you will need to visit the individual placement sites.
Your profile
Your educational background is not decisive. The most important thing is that you have extensive knowledge and interest in the social-professional work and financial understanding as well as legal competencies. You can therefore have either a social-professional, financial or legal background.
You must be able to work independently and in close collaboration with many skilled and engaged professionals, so you will thrive best in the position if you enjoy creating networks and broad collaboration.
As a person we hope you are curious by nature, so you can challenge and develop our ways of doing things. We are open to proposals and we become better together all the time.
To fit well into the team it is important that you are dedicated, responsible and passionate about both operations and development.
An attractive workplace
The daily life in the Secretariat is busy, but there is always room for us to laugh together. You will collaborate with the 21 colleagues in the Secretariat, and in addition you will build a large network across the rest of the organization.
We ensure you receive a good introduction to the administration and the tasks. It is important for us to have a good working environment, and we hope you will contribute with humor and high spirits.
We offer all our employees good opportunities for professional and personal development.
