We expect that the pedagogue

• can apply theoretical and research-based knowledge in their core task - to create well-being, learning and development for the children.
• can translate knowledge into practice, including reflecting and communicating with professionals and parents.
• has the ability to establish versatile learning environments within language development, motor skills, cultural dissemination, creativity and the natural science area.
• can plan the pedagogical work and ensure that it is carried out with a certain level of systematics and purposefulness.
• is responsible for ensuring that pedagogical activities and processes are planned and carried out in accordance with the law.
• at the same time must be able to collaborate with and instruct, guide and inspire pedagogical assistants and students in pedagogical work, ethics and norms.
• can work in collegial teams and have knowledge of teambuilding techniques and group dynamics.
• is particularly interested in and has knowledge about nature as a place of stay and learning environment.
• manages to work independently and take the lead in the pedagogical work.

The work is in both nursery and kindergarten.

Who are we

The Skovdalen Nursery House lies in Vorup close to nature with opportunities for many exciting experiences in nature.

The Skovdalen Nursery House is a combined institution with room for 39 nursery children and 67 kindergarten children.

We work from the new view of children with a focus on the relational and appreciative approach. We work inclusively, where all children should be part of a children’s community.

We focus on the good work community, where we have close cooperation between nursery and kindergarten.

Outdoor life is a big part of our everyday life, we have our own bus, and all kindergarten children have a weekly day where they go out and gain experiences in nature.

Our playground offers many opportunities for exploration, it is located on uneven terrain with a patch of forest, where we also have a bonfire place.
