RENTEQ Automotive is looking for practical and skilled mechanics/assemblers who can take care of the mechanical/electrical assembly at our factory in Gedved, and who have the right mindset to work in a production where processes are continually optimized.

About RENTEQ Automotive

RENTEQ Automotive is a young Danish company with an ambition to reduce CO₂ emissions by electrifying vans and construction machines and by building battery trailers. We have development in Dragør and production at our factory in Gedved, and we take the whole journey on ourselves – from engineering and development all the way to serial production.

The job

As a mechanic/assembler with us you work with the practical assembly on the production line – primarily the assembly of our Vanteq, eventually also construction machines and our battery trailers.

The production is still young, so there is plenty of room to improve it. You work closely with the engineering and production teams, contribute to problem solving early and help us build smarter from cycle to cycle. You help ensure that every single component is handled correctly and documented precisely, as your work is the foundation for the entire conversion project.

Your typical tasks will be

● Assembly of Vanteq on the production line – according to established work instructions

● Assembly of electrical components, wiring and drive train in chassis and body

● Adaptation and troubleshooting of components in close collaboration with the electronics and software team

● Quality control and documentation of all assembly steps and findings along the way in production

● Ongoing improvement of process and workflows – you can contribute to the guides and checklists we develop

● Primarily work with Vanteq – and construction machines will likely come to Gedved as well

● Together we always keep production organized, equipment maintained and processes documented to ensure the highest possible quality.

Is it you?

We are looking for a person with solid practical experience and an approach that combines precision with flexibility. Most importantly, you can work independently but also are skilled at collaborating in a team that is continually learning and developing. It would be an advantage if you can say yes to the following:

● Experience with mounting and dismounting engines, hydraulic systems and fuel components on agricultural machines, construction machines or vans

● Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, fluid systems and basic electrical elements

● Ideally a strong interest in electrification

● AC course or equivalent (not mandatory, but a big plus)

● Ability to work in a structured way and document your work

● Independence and responsibility, but also openness to feedback and collaboration

● Patience and a positive attitude to work in a development environment where we continually refine the process

● Danish at a high level; functional English is an advantage as we are an international team.
