2 pedagogues for Børnehuset Christianebo

Do you want to work in a smaller nursery and create the best environments for the children through play, belonging and slow pedagogy, with principles from Marte Meo and low arousal?

The Christianebo Nursery is looking for two trained pedagogues for 37 hours per week from 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. Other hours can be agreed according to wishes.

We are happy to wait for the right match and planned Christmas holidays are of course respected.

One position is in the toddler group and the other in the transition group, where the children are about 2 ¼ years to 3 ¼ years – the transition from toddler group to kindergarten.

For one of the positions there will be an opportunity to become team coordinator for the toddler group.

For both positions it is valid that there are 3-4 adults in each room, depending on the number of children in the group.

About us

Christianebo is a cozy smaller nursery with room for 65 children spread across 2 toddler groups, a transition group, a kindergarten group and two lovely large playgrounds, with a fire pit and plenty of opportunities. We are focused on understanding and developing children through their initiatives and ZNU. We believe that children thrive, learn and develop best through secure relationships in play and communities, and it is our most important task to guide them in this by being present, curious and setting boundaries.

We are a relatively new, collaboratively composed staff group, which places emphasis on high professionalism, a safe working environment where we dare to be curious and make an effort, and not least use humor and joy together in everyday life.

We lift as a team and help each other, to together become wiser about our shared practice.

Right now we are focused on developing pedagogy and creating a shared direction. This is reflected in the framework for the children throughout the day, as well as how we best utilize all spaces inside and out, for the benefit of the children.

Parental collaboration is an important part of our culture and together we work to create well-being and development for all children.

Management is present and close to practice, and is otherwise training to become a Marte Meo therapist, as the next step in the development of the nursery.

Time is allocated for weekly planning in teams, as well as for other tasks around the children. In order to be present with the children throughout the day, we have chosen to place our team/staff meetings between 17:00-19:00 once a month.

About you

You are a trained pedagogue and understand the importance of creating authentic relationships with the children.

Whether you are newly trained or have a lot of experience in pedagogy is not decisive.

The most important thing is that you want to be with the children, are caring, stable and approachable.

Salary and employment terms according to collective agreement and principles of new pay.

As a trained pedagogue in our nursery you will receive a permanent Gladsaxe allowance as well as an seniority allowance after 2 years of uninterrupted employment.

You must master Danish in speaking and writing.

When employed, both child and criminal record checks are obtained and references are taken.
