Kellersvej 6ABD is seeking professionally engaged and curious social educators for full-time positions in both day and evening shifts with work every other weekend.

We are a small residential facility with 18 adult residents spread over three houses and are part of Gladsaxe Handicaptilbud.

Our residents

Our residents are between 19 and 57 years old and have intellectual disabilities and ASD. They have different resources and needs, but a common requirement is structure, predictability and safety in daily life.

We work with LA2U, SVS and an appreciative approach . We base our work on the individual resident's resources, wishes and autonomy and focus on supporting the resident in living as independently and meaningfully as possible.

The work involves support for daily activities and tasks and may also include personal care. All residents have a day service.

Your everyday life with us

You will be permanently attached to one of our three houses, where you work closely with colleagues around six residents.

As a social educator you will, among other things

• a contact person for residents
• attached to a small team
• responsible for documentation and follow-up
• part of the collaboration with relatives, day services and other partners
• with turning pedagogical goals and methods into everyday practice.

We work cross-disciplinary and use our meetings for professional sparring, reflection and coordination .

The morning hours on weekdays provide, among other things, opportunities for documentation, administrative work and dialogue with partners.

You don't need to know our methods in advance. We provide introduction and training, and there are ongoing opportunities for courses and further education.

Kellersvej 6ABD is located in a green and quiet area with good outdoor spaces for, among other things, walks and bike rides. The area includes a training center and a café, and there are opportunities for activities and socializing.

The position is 37 hours per week. If a full-time position is not right for you, we are happy to discuss a different number of hours.
