3 awake night shifts for Dahliahuset: 1 permanent position and 2 fixed-term positions

Would you like a night shift role where your professional skills truly make a difference ? We are seeking three awake night nurses – one for a permanent position and two for limited-term positions of six months with the possibility of extension. We are looking for social- and healthcare assistants or pedagogues. Unskilled workers can only be considered with practical experience with the target group.

Welcome to Dahliahuset Dahliahuset is a new residential facility in Greve Municipality for six adults with extensive and complex functional impairments, including multi-handicap. The residents may have extensive needs for care, support and assistance with transfers. The first two residents move in on December 1, 2026. Dahliahuset is organizationally part of the Pedagogical-Psychiatric Guidance Center (PPV).

The throughline between evening and day As a awake night shift you help create safe nights and act as the bridge between evening and day shifts. You have a special responsibility to structure and coordinate overlaps , so observations, changes and important knowledge are handed over and followed up.

The tasks include both health-care and pedagogical elements. There can be 1:1 tasks where a resident requires close support at night. There are two awake night shifts present at the same time and you can share the 1:1 tasks and the other duties when it is compatible with the resident’s needs and the agreed working routines. You help each other with care, transfers and other tasks that require two staff members. We work according to applicable instructions and the APV.

Our professional approach Recovery and rehabilitation are the foundation with a starting point in Greve Municipality’s value base. We work with LA2u (well-being, energy management and prevention of strain states) and neuro-pedagogy and neuropsychological understanding .

Communication is more than words. We pay attention to the individual resident’s modes of expression, including nonverbal communication and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) – also at night.

Your tasks

• Ensure safety, care and individually tailored support with respect for the residents’ circadian rhythms.
• Handle relevant health-care and pedagogical tasks within your own competencies and applicable instructions.
• Observe changes in physical and mental state and respond in a professionally relevant manner.
• Use aids and manage transfers according to applicable instructions and APV.
• Lead and structure overlaps and ensure precise documentation and knowledge sharing.

Who are you? You are educated as a social- and healthcare assistant or pedagogue . You can also apply as an unskilled worker, but only if you already have relevant, practical experience with adults with multi-handicap and extensive care and support needs , for example from a specialized residential facility. We place great emphasis on the ability to observe, maintain an overview and act appropriately in complex situations.

• You have an eye for health-care and pedagogical issues and understand the importance of good documentation.
• You actively want to contribute to the collaboration and development of a new night shift role.

You will receive an introduction and training adapted to your competencies and the residents’ individual needs.

Practical information Employment form: We offer one permanent position and two limited-term positions of six months from the start date. The limited-term positions may be extended after a concrete assessment and agreement.

Working hours: Awake night shift with the possibility of 5-2 or 7-7 rotation. Weekly hours, shift length and specific rotation are determined at hiring in accordance with applicable working time rules and any local agreements. You are welcome to indicate whether you prefer 5-2 or 7-7 rotation and a permanent or limited-term position.

• 7/7 arrangement: 28–32 hours per week.
• 5/2 arrangement: 35 hours per week.

Start date: December 1, 2026 or by agreement.

Salary and terms of employment are determined in accordance with the current collective agreement and principles for local salary formation. A criminal background check will be obtained at hire.
