About the job

Are you passionate about making a difference for people with special needs? Do you have experience with adult citizens with autism and developmental disability, or would you like to put your skills to work in a meaningful work environment? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

About the offer

We are a day service for 13 adult citizens with autism and developmental disability. The citizens all have extensive support needs, and our work always starts from the individual citizen's well-being, wishes, resources and needs.

We primarily work 1:1 with the citizens and place great emphasis on relationships, structure and predictability in daily life. At the same time we are flexible and adaptable, as the citizens' daily condition and needs can change.

We are looking for

A maternity leave replacement on 30 hours per week

  • An approximately 1-year fixed-term position
  • Start in November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter

A support worker in a permanent position

  • The position is 37 hours per week. If a full-time position is not right for you, we are happy to discuss another number of hours
  • Start as soon as possible

Aday in our everyday life

A large part of our activities take place outdoors. We actively use nature and go on trips, experience sensory environments, visit churches and much more. The activities are planned based on the citizens' interests, wishes and current functioning level.

Some citizens can, at times, be self-harming or act out. Therefore we work with high professionalism, clear structure, demand-adjustment and a focus on creating safe environments for the individual.

Although the activities are often relationship-based, it is essential that the staff have insight into and respect for each citizen's structure and daily routines.

We offer

  • A workplace with high professionalism and strong commitment
  • A helpful and supportive group of colleagues who are ready to help you get started
  • Meaningful work where you make a real difference in the citizens' daily lives
  • A everyday life characterized by collaboration, development and presence

We are open Monday to Friday 08:00-15:00, also on weekdays between holidays, for example between Christmas and New Year.

We expect that you

  • Have experience with the target group, for example from residential facilities, activity and social programs or sheltered employment
  • Can work in a structured and relationship-oriented manner
  • Are calm, patient and adaptable
  • Have good ethics and a strong human commitment
  • Can speak, understand and communicate clearly in Danish

It does not matter whether you are educated as a social educator or come with another relevant background. The most important is that you have the right personal and professional competencies for the job.
