Åhaven Nursing Home in Ferritslev is seeking on-call substitutes

At Åhaven Nursing Home we are looking for on-call substitutes for weekends, holidays and vacation periods. We need both trained social- and health care assistants as well as unskilled staff who want to contribute to a safe and meaningful everyday life for our residents.

Whether you are experienced, newly qualified or completely new to the profession, we ensure a thorough introduction. The most important for us is that you meet residents and colleagues with respect, professionalism, a smile and the heart in the right place.

Åhaven Nursing Home

Åhaven is part of Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality’s 9 nursing homes. We have 45 accommodations, of which 14 are located in a dementia ward. The nursing home is situated in Ferritslev on Midtfyn, very scenically. We have views of beautiful natural areas with rivers and hills, we have a lovely sensory garden with beautiful flower beds, fountains, musical instruments and a large heated orangery.

Your tasks will include

• Provide basic care and support rehabilitation
• Observe residents’ well-being and document relevant professional knowledge
• Contribute to coherence in residents’ pathways
• Maintain contact with residents, relatives and partners
• Handle medication to a certain extent – training provided

We work in Nexus – familiarity is an advantage, but not a requirement. Training will be provided.
