Accountant sought for a longer-term temporary position

On behalf of Interroll-Joki A/S in Hvidovre, Randstad is looking for a self-driven and dutiful Accountant for a longer temporary position on a full-time basis. Here you will have full responsibility for the accounts receivable in an international manufacturing company with high ceilings, where colleagues pull together as a team.

Your primary tasks

As Accountant you will have a clear area of responsibility as the central hub for accounts receivable and will hold a central function in the finance department, from which Interroll-Joki runs their shared services for the Nordic region.

You report directly to the CFO in a dedicated team of four colleagues who together contribute to maintaining effective financial management and ensuring that the set deadlines are met.

Your daily work offers great variety with a wide range of tasks, where your main task is to ensure that deadlines and routines are followed. You do this by:

• Taking full responsibility for accounts receivable reporting, bookkeeping, and sending out account statements and dunning notices
• Handling credit assessments, reviewing credit limits and approving sales orders in close dialogue with customers
• Managing travel reimbursements, advances as well as posting of cost invoices and financial vouchers
• Actively participating in month-end closing, including bank reconciliations and assisting other staff in the department

To succeed in the role, it is essential that you can take the ball and run with it. You take ownership of the routines and thrive in a proactive role where you are in close dialogue with customers and colleagues. Therefore, you must be able to communicate clearly across the organization. You feel comfortable in a department with fixed deadlines and you maintain an overview even when month-end approaches.

We imagine you contribute with

• A relevant accounting or financial education, preferably supplemented by a couple of years of experience
• Strong skills in Excel and spreadsheets as well as a generally good ERP understanding
• Good language skills in both Danish and English, written and spoken
• Willingness to learn new systems; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an advantage but not a requirement
• The ability to handle ongoing compliance tasks and take responsibility for your own deadlines

• Temporary position of 37 hours per week, excluding lunch
• Duration: approximately 7 months
• Workplace: Hvidovre with the possibility to work from home about 1 day a week. On-site presence at the office is highly valued to maintain common routines, processes and good collegiality.
