About the job

There are people who thrive on creating an overview and ticking off along the way.

And there are people who get energy from being the ones who ensure that the tasks actually reach their goal.

If you belong to the last group, then read on.

In the Technical, Business and Culture department in Nordfyns Municipality, we are looking for a colleague who can keep track of many different threads at once. Not because everything has to be perfectly organized, but because we need a person who can help us make everyday life function.

Among other things, you will help us prepare political matters for committee meetings, follow up on the things we have decided to work on, assist when we need to hire new colleagues, work with land sales and handle the many practical tasks that no one thinks about until they have to be solved.

In short: You should be one of those who makes the wheels go round.

A typical week might include

Monday: You help a leader get the final details in place for a political agenda item.

Tuesday: A position needs to be advertised, and you coordinate the hiring process and contact with candidates.

Wednesday: You follow up on a strategic focus area in which several departments are involved.

Thursday: A new colleague starts, and you ensure setup in the systems and assignment of the necessary access.

Friday: You assist with a case concerning the sale of a small municipal area and at the same time resolve a couple of unforeseen tasks that arose during the week.

And if next week looks completely different? Then it is probably a plus in your eyes.

We think you will thrive with us if you

  • have a sense for creating structure and momentum in a busy day with many different tasks and partners
  • are the type who follows a task through to the end
  • can write clearly and precisely
  • thrive with both people, systems and processes
  • do not stall when a plan changes

We imagine that you have experience with administrative work, preferably from a public organization. Maybe you come from a municipality. Maybe you don’t. The most important is that you can create structure, collaborate with many different people and want to throw yourself into a variety of tasks.

What you get with us

We have a fruit scheme. We have a canteen. And yes, there is also a table football table in the basement.

But what we hope you are looking for is something more than that.

With us you get a daily life where you are close to both management, political processes and the many tasks that contribute to developing the municipality. You will become part of a directorate area where the tasks span a wide range, and where you both get responsibility and the opportunity to put your own mark on how the tasks are solved.

You will have close cooperation with colleagues across the municipality, insight into the decisions and processes that shape Nordfyn, and a daily life where no week necessarily resembles another.

We are a smaller municipality, and that is felt in a positive way. You quickly get to know your collaboration partners, there is a short path from idea to action, and you can see the concrete value of your work. At the same time you become part of a workplace where we help each other, share knowledge and lift the tasks collectively.

Organizationally you will report to the Climate and Infrastructure department, but you will be part of the entire directorate area Technical, Business and Culture.

In Technical, Business and Culture at Otterup Town Hall, we are a total of 60 employees who, based on value-based leadership, treat each other, partners and citizens with trust and respect.

Have we sparked your interest?

Then send us an application in which you tell us what you can contribute and what motivates you about the job.

We value candidates who take the time to understand the position and present themselves in a clear and well-considered way. It gives us the best basis for finding the right colleague for the team.

The application must be received no later than Wednesday, 20 October 2026 at 08:00.

We will hold 1st round interviews on Thursday, 22 October and the possibility for a 2nd interview on Monday, 26 October 2026.

The anticipated salary range will be stated at the 1st interview. The final salary is determined based on your qualifications and previous professional experience and after concrete negotiation with the trade union.

A criminal record check may be obtained before employment.

We look forward to reading your application.
