Administrative Officer for the Education Department in the Defence Health Capacity

About the position

You will work with project management of analyses within Education in Military Physical Training and Health and Sanitation Service, onboarding of new employees, and support of a larger IT-implementation.

Your tasks will primarily be

• Case processing and preparation of decision papers for our two education centres and cross-cutting projects for FSK
• Project management of cross-cutting analyses
• Maintain and develop the FSK onboarding concept, including hosting two annual introduction days
• Support the implementation of a new Electronic Journal System in the Defence
• Conduct management evaluation every other year, including supporting top management in dealing with the results

About you

You have a relevant academic education. We are looking for an independent, holistic colleague who can work across levels and professional boundaries. You have experience with project management and stakeholder management and can coordinate cross-cutting initiatives from analysis to recommendation and implementation.

We would like you to be an independent and engaged colleague who quickly can create a holistic understanding of the context in which the Defence Health Capacity operates. It is an advantage if you have a background in education and HR, and can bring these competencies into play in coordination with military-science and health-science specialists.

It is advantageous if you have experience implementing IT systems in larger organizations, and thus a good business understanding when it comes to the interaction between IT and people.

About us

In the Defence Health Capacity we ensure the soldier's health. We are professionally responsible for - and operate the health service in the Defence. We develop and advise on the health service, on military physical training and run the military infirmaries, the Center for Military Physical Training and the Center for Health and Sanitation Education. In addition we are responsible for recruiting and training the Defence's health professional personnel who take care of Danish soldiers in national and international operations.

The Education Department consists of a chief and two caseworkers as well as a Health IT team of three employees. In the Education Department is also the Center for Military Physical Training, which is responsible for education in military physical training, and the Center for Health and Sanitation Education, which is responsible for education of the Defence's health professionals.

The department is a good mix of civilian and military staff who strive daily to make each other look good. We value an informal tone, prioritize flexibility and planning our working hours for a good balance, which means there is ample opportunity to influence the conditions for task solving.

Terms of employment

Employment is in accordance with the then-current collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state (Academic Agreement).

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is the possibility of negotiating a supplement. The position is tied to an employer-financed pension scheme.

The workplace is in Brabrand.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to some special terms. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.

As an employee you have a duty to serve outside the country’s borders, including with units in international operations with a view to participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peace-enforcing, humanitarian and other similar operations.
