About the job

Are you passionate about the recovery-oriented rehabilitative approach in working with citizens from the age of 18? Do you want to support citizens in being able to master their own lives? And do you have strong collaboration skills in encounters with citizens as well as colleagues? Then you might be the person who should be our new colleague. The Opgangsfællesskabet is an unit in Individual Pathways, which is part of Borgerens Vej in Roskilde Municipality.

Our vision is to make each citizen's path to help in the municipality more coherent and simple. Therefore we have created a common entry point, where we gather the offerings across the social, employment, and health sectors. The purpose is to make the way to help easier for citizens – with fewer professionals and a more holistic approach.

Opgangsfællesskabet Rønnebærparken consists of 17 apartments with separate lease contracts.

In the stairwell we collaborate with citizens who have mental vulnerability and social challenges.

We are seeking a colleague who is proactive and curious, and who can see themselves supporting the community and facilitating activities.

You may be creative and energetic – just as we enjoy humor in each other’s company.

A part of our daily work is to support the citizens individually within SEL §85, and an equally large part of the task is to integrate the citizens into the community, and collaborate to initiate meaningful activities.

There are various social activities during the week, e.g., morning coffee and evening coffee as well as creative communities.

Opgangsfællesskabet has daily opening hours, where staff present offer guidance, support and sparring regarding everyday challenges. An essential part of the task is also to support social relations and create a framework for meaningful communities, where citizens experience belonging, influence, and the opportunity for active participation. In addition, we work on building bridges to civil society, including associations, leisure activities, voluntary offers and the municipality's own offerings.

Your daily work will be guidance with citizens individually or in groups, as well as acting as the link between the citizen and civil society, just as we also support citizens in entering education and employment.

Your primary working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday. However, it is expected that you are flexible to be able to work until 7 p.m., one to two times a week. If you wish to be an internship supervisor, there is also an opportunity for that.

About us We are a newly established team, getting to know each other's professionalities and competences, which means we are a team in motion and development - so for us it is important that you see that process as part of developing a strong work community.

We are a team consisting of two pedagogues, a social- and health care assistant and a pedagogy student.

We can guarantee you that you will be met by colleagues who are open and keen to get to know you – and that we take pride in finding professional solutions together.

We work with a perspective shift as a method, and see it as a tool for how we can help ourselves and each other with the feelings and dilemmas we encounter in our professional life.

We hold team meetings weekly, and have supervision with an external supervisor. We are mindful that no one should stand alone, and that we are collectively lifting the tasks.

We are a workplace with strong management support and trust in your professional judgments and common sense, as well as a focus on wellbeing and a good psychosocial work environment.

We emphasize: That you have experience with the target group

That you enjoy working independently – while being a team player

That you have an interest in and experience with creating and supporting communities

That you have an overview, are responsible, reliable and contribute with a positive energy

That you have a standard driving license

We assume you have a background as a social educator, SSA, social worker or similar.

Can you see yourself becoming our colleague, and do you have some experience with: Citizens with complex social/psychiatric challenges

Citizens who need to enter work or education

Citizens with autism

Clear and respectful communication both orally and in writing

Strong cooperation skills and a high degree of mentalizing ability

Guide and document purposefully based on a request

We look forward to hearing from you.
