Would you like to help move a kindergarten?

We are looking for a department leader who dares to lead

37 hours – of which 10 hours are for leadership

We are looking for someone who is not seeking a new pedagogical position, but who wants to make a difference and help set the direction.

We are a kindergarten in development, and we are currently under heightened supervision. We need to change that – together.

We must get closer to the strengthened pedagogical curriculum, develop our learning and play environments, and become much more curious about our own practice.

We must dare to ask each other: Why do we do what we do – and is it good enough for the children?

You will play an important role.

Management closely connected to practice

You get 10 hours of management time per week, but your most important leadership task also takes place in the midst of everyday life.

You must be able to play on the floor, help a child into play, be on the playground and at the same time have an eye for the pedagogy that unfolds around you.

You, together with the leader, must help set the pedagogical agenda and lead the development.

This also means that you must dare to act when you see something that is not good pedagogy, or when our actions do not align with what we have agreed. You must be able to say it out loud – properly, respectfully and professionally.

We are looking for someone who

• is a trained pedagogue and passionate about the profession
• can reflect on practice and translate the curriculum into everyday work
• dare to be clear and take professional responsibility
• can create followership and development together with others
• wants to be both a pedagogue on the floor and part of the management.

If you have previously been a coordinator or department head, that is an advantage – but the most important thing is your enthusiasm for the task and your courage to help develop a kindergarten.

You are not coming to a kindergarten where everything is finished.

On the other hand, you will come to a kindergarten where you have the opportunity to make a real difference in where we are headed.

Start date: 1 Dec 2026

Employment: 37 hours per week, of which 10 hours are management tasks.

Salary and terms of employment: In accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
