About Jens Warmings Vej

Jens Warmings Vej on Amager is a temporary § 107 residential offer for 13 citizens aged 18-35 with autism. The offering focuses on developing and maintaining the citizens' skills through a structured training program with the goal of being able to live more independently, with or without support, in the future. Work includes, among other things, clear phases, target areas, relationships and close collaboration with the citizens and their relatives.

About Skolegade

Skolegade in Valby is a residential community for 14 citizens aged 18-30 with autism. Here the focus is on creating a meaningful and manageable daily life that supports the citizens' independence and participation. The offering has specialized knowledge about autism spectrum disorders and emphasizes professional development, social communities and close collaboration with relatives.

A versatile leadership role at two addresses

You will lead two well-established offerings with their own history, staff, citizens and daily life. That means you are not stepping onto a blank canvas. You must build on what works, create continuity and at the same time have an eye on where there is a need for development and a new direction. It is therefore important that you want a leadership role where you are physically present. You should be able to see the value in being close to practice, the staff and the citizens.

You will thus have a leadership position with daily variation, where you must be able to lift your gaze and work strategically while also being close to daily operations.

Your main tasks will be to

• lead the staff groups and create clear direction, well-being, engagement and professional development
• be a present and visible leader with an eye for the different needs and cultures
• ensure stable operations, including scheduling, resource management, prioritization and follow-up
• ensure high professional quality and support the translation of pedagogical methods and professional approaches into practice
• follow up on workflows, documentation, goals and quality standards
• create coherence and collaboration across the two offerings while respecting their different target groups and tasks
• collaboration with internal and external partners, including authorities, psychiatry, job centers and relatives.

Your leadership community

You will have your own management responsibility, but you are not alone. Jens Warmings Vej and Skolegade are anchored in the organization NORA, which consists of five residential offerings in total. You will become part of a cross-functional management community with other department heads and a program manager, where there is an opportunity for sparring, shared reflection and collaboration on both operations and development.

At the two offerings we work, among other things, with neuro-pedagogy, Low Arousal, KRAP (cognitive, resource-focused and appreciative practice), citizen involvement and recovery-oriented approaches.

We are looking for a leader who

• has leadership experience and preferably experience from autism and/or the social sector – experience or knowledge of psychiatry is a clear advantage
• has a leadership qualification or the desire to obtain one
• can translate professionalism and methods into practice and set direction, monitor and create quality in daily work
• is clear, present and relationally strong and can create followership, engagement and well-being
• has an eye for both people, operations and quality and works systematically with agreements, goals and follow-up
• can stand calmly and clearly in an organization with existing cultures while being curious about what can be developed and improved
• communicates clearly and inspirationally and can build good relationships with staff, citizens, relatives and partners.

Employment conditions

The position is 37 hours per week. Start date is December 1, 2026. Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. We will obtain relevant references and a criminal record as part of the hiring process.
