About the job

Can you translate strategic, legal and financial frameworks into concrete changes? Can you work at the intersection of law, management support and strategic development projects, and at the same time flexibly participate in ongoing executive support? Then perhaps you are the person we are looking for.

About the job

As part of the Directorate and Press Secretariat, you will have a close collaboration with the Danish Agency for Slots and Culture's top management, where you will play a central role in the agency's organizational transition toward 2030. You will drive cross-cutting projects and organizational changes and translate strategic decisions into concrete results.

As an organizational and executive consultant, you will support the executive board's ongoing prioritization and coordination of various development tracks. A significant part of the role will also be to support analyses of complex organizational, legal and financial issues, and translate them into clear decision bases and recommendations.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

  • identify efficiency and rationalization potentials and support the work to realize gains
  • ensure coherence between strategic goals, financial priorities, the organization and task execution
  • support multi-year financial adjustments and ensure coherence between financial decisions, legal frameworks and strategic priorities
  • prepare analyses, decision briefs, notes and other materials for the executive
  • support the executive in work with organizational adaptation, including coordinating and following up on cross-cutting initiatives and decisions
  • perform secretariat support for the executive, including coordinating agreements, following up on decisions and deadlines and other assistance to the executive's daily work.

We are a dynamic workplace where tasks and business needs continually evolve, and you must therefore be prepared to contribute to the task solving across the unit when necessary. The position is anchored in our Directorate and Press Secretariat, but you will have a central role in driving and supporting cross-cutting projects across the entire organization.

We offer

You will become part of a well-functioning team organized in a Directorate and Press Secretariat responsible for development projects, executive support, management support and communication. The position provides broad insight into the agency's multifaceted tasks, where you will play a central role in the continued development and adaptation of the organization.

We place emphasis on a work environment characterized by professionalism, collaboration and good humor – also when the pace is high.

About you

You are a trained lawyer and have solid experience from a politically governed organization. You know the interplay between the management, the ministry, professional units and cross-cutting staff functions, as it is expected that you can advise the executive at a strategic level.

We expect that you

  • Have several years of relevant experience with organizational development, strategy, project management and management support
  • Have experience in driving cross-cutting projects and change processes
  • Have the ability to communicate complex strategic and organizational issues clearly and purposefully
  • Are collaborative and good at building relationships across the organization
  • Have a good understanding of financial and organizational interrelationships
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

We are looking for a colleague who is curious, proactive and motivated by bridging the gap between the organization and leadership.

It is essential that you work independently, take responsibility and thrive in a daily life with many parallel tasks and changing agendas.

Terms of employment

This is a temporary full-time appointment until December 31, 2029.

The position is at senior consultant level, and employment and remuneration are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the State and Akademikerne.

With us you will have a workplace where presence is valued highly. We believe in the value of meeting in person – both to solve tasks effectively, to be able to spar and to maintain a strong sense of community.

It is a condition of employment that you can obtain security clearance, and that you can maintain the security clearance during employment.

Further information about the position can be obtained by contacting Unit Chief Christian Barse at tel. 21 68 60 48 or email [email protected].
