About the job

In the Office AI Development and Platform we work with solutions that help ensure taxes and duties are paid correctly so that the welfare society hangs together. As a Solution Architect you will also be allowed to nerd out with some of the most exciting technologies in machine learning and GenAI together with skilled colleagues.

AI Development and Platform – your new workplace

We are looking for an experienced AI Solution Architect, who will become part of the office AI Development and Platform . The office has 30 specialists across three teams, who are involved in developing and delivering AI and ML solutions to the entire Tax Administration as well as the platform solutions on which the solutions are developed and deployed into production.

“What we need to do is to ensure that we have a modern data-driven tax authority” says your new office head Aske Hven-Jensen and continues “We support, for example, case workers by qualifying outcomes in large numbers of cases or support guidance through text suggestions. The potential is enormous, and it is cool to feel that our solutions make a difference. We must also be able to do this in the future and that requires, among other things, that we are able to navigate in a rapidly developing technology area and make good choices for the platforms we are responsible for.”

Our office is informal, dynamic and sparring. We focus on well-being and personal development in a day-to-day with high professional level and interesting solutions that lift important societal tasks.

You will have a leader who believes in direct feedback, and who thinks that delegation of responsibility, mutual respect and a positive approach are prerequisites for people to thrive and develop.

Your role crosses the three teams of the office, of which one team is responsible for several important platforms in the Tax Administration. You support good management decisions with strong communication skills and translate deep technological knowledge about AI platforms into an appropriate flying height for different audiences.

About you

As an experienced AI Solution Architect your ability to set a technological direction for AI in the office and thus the entire Tax Administration will be brought into play. It is essential that you contribute with positive energy both in dialog internally in the office and in the interaction we have with the many stakeholders we collaborate with across the Tax Administration.

You should have an in-depth knowledge of both current solutions and be involved when we develop new ones. You thrive in an informal environment with a positive approach to tasks and new challenges. You are thorough, responsible and can work independently and efficiently.

We imagine that you

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in working with solution architecture, including specifically with platforms that support ML and/or GenAI
  • Have a master's degree or a PhD in computer science or similar
  • Have your finger on the pulse and keep up with the application of new technology.
  • It is an advantage if you have experience with graph database technology
  • Active communicator of your knowledge, so you help to make all colleagues in the office good
  • Be part of creating good and direction-setting decision foundations for management
  • Have strong communication skills to present your insights in an easily understandable way for colleagues who do not necessarily have the same technological depth.
  • Thrive in working with others, sharing knowledge and making each other's solutions better
