Active and engaged educator sought for a small kindergarten in Risskov

Are you the type who isn't afraid of a bit of soil under your nails, lasagna over a campfire and loves children's laughter? Then maybe it's you we're looking for at Børnehaven Svend-Åge in Risskov.

We are looking for an experienced, independent and energetic pedagogue for a permanent position of 30-37 hours with start on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

With us no day is the same, but most contain children with big ideas, adults with good energy and occasionally a pot over the fire that either succeeds… or becomes a good story.

Who are you?

You are trained pedagogue – and you have enough experience to know that

· children do not always do what we have planned

· Children do the best they can

· The best moments can arise spontaneously

· A good relationship beats most schedules

We imagine that you

• Can plan and carry out pedagogical activities that strengthen children's well-being, development and community
• Create inclusive learning environments with a focus on recognitive pedagogy and respect for diversity
• Be the primary contact for a group of children and work closely with parents about the child's everyday life
• Actively participate in play, structure and practical routines both outdoors and indoors
• Attend meetings, sparring and reflection in the staffgroup
• Contribute to developing everyday pedagogy with ideas, initiative and a positive, solution-oriented approach

We do not expect you to know everything from day one, but we hope that you

· can plan activities that hit the children's developmental zone, that make children forget time

· want to be actively involved in the play, and be a role model for the children

· can navigate in a daily life where plans sometimes change

· can take responsibility for your own activities, and be an important part of all that is shared; morning coffee, afternoon play and Friday campfire meal.

What you will be doing

· Kick off creative and pedagogical projects that may get a bit messy

· Take children out into nature – even when the weather doesn't quite agree

· Create safe relationships through presence and participation

· Be involved in developing everyday life together with children and colleagues

· Use both professionalism, imagination and a bit of situational awareness

A bit about us

We are an independently run kindergarten in Risskov close to forest and beach. We work with presence, relationships and high professionalism, but also with humor and flexibility.

We don't believe in perfect days. We believe in good days and educational moments, and there are fortunately many of them.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting takes place after negotiation with the union organization eligible to negotiate based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary setting
