About the job
Become part of a strong work community in Sans og Samvær and help realise dreams for people with functional variations. You will get a meaningful job with professionally exciting tasks. You will have good collegial collaboration with five colleagues who have different profiles and competencies, and who share a common passion for working with the target group.
At Solgården we are academically ambitious, and we find it important and exciting to develop ourselves. As an employee at Solgården there is plenty of opportunity to think innovatively and to pursue further education. We are a workplace where we talk and think critically together and see value in putting our own professional expertise in focus and in discussion.
In Sans og Samvær we work with a strong curiosity on behalf of our users, and we see ourselves as detectives in their lives, where we try to pinpoint each individual's potential and, through pedagogical practice, bring this forward. We find meaning in reading the small signals and become excited by development that can be seen through a magnifying glass. We work with movement and touch, physically as well as emotionally, through sensory experiments, communication, outdoor life, crafts and music. We often go out of the house so that the users can experience the world, and the world can experience us!
If the above has aroused your interest, we would very much like to give you a tour so you can see who we are in Sans og Samvær.
Who is Solgården
Solgården is a day service for adults with functional variations who have a lasting need for support. We have about 100 users, and we work rehabilitatively with a focus on developing personal, social and professional competences. You will become part of a workplace with a total of about 35 colleagues, all of whom are further trained in the KRAP method. The staff group mainly consists of social educators, but we also have physiotherapists, graphic designers, textile communicators, a gardener, a cook, etc. employed.
At Solgården we focus on the large work community and cross-workshop collaboration. We, as a staff group, share responsibility for planning the pedagogical content for both users and staff, which gives a great degree of influence in the professional development at Solgården.
Who are you?
- You have a strong regard for people
- You are professionally curious
- You have a reflective approach to your own practice
- You take responsibility and act independently
- You bring yourself into play, in an authentic way in your work
- You can work in both quiet and challenging situations
- Your professional background is not essential, as long as you are passionate about the target group.
Send us a (different) application based on two questions
You do not need to send a long application; instead, we would ask you to address the two questions below. In an era of AI, we want to emphasise that we would rather meet you through your own words than through a slick and perfectly formulated application. Tell us what engages you, what you believe in, and what characterises you as a professional. We are more interested in your way of thinking, speaking, and working with pedagogy than in a perfectly formulated application.
Your answers will be included in our overall assessment of our recruitment process.
- How do you view learning and development for people with functional variations, and how does your view of humanity express itself in your pedagogical practice?
- What professional competencies and experiences would you bring into our team, and how can these contribute to both the users' development and the shared professional development among colleagues?
