Responsible for backend development

As more people choose the electric car, the need for a stable and scalable digital platform for Clever's customers grows. Therefore we are looking for a backend developer who wants to help develop our ordering and onboarding flow, so it becomes even easier to become a customer of Clever.

Your role

As the person responsible for backend development, you will be part of the engine room behind customers' experiences with Clever. More precisely, this is where new customers meet us for the first time when they order their charging solution and are well guided to get started. You will help ensure that our ordering and onboarding flow is stable, scalable and easy to continue developing as the electric industry evolves at lightning speed.

You will also have a strong influence on the technical decisions and the opportunity to shape how we develop our solutions going forward. We are curious about how AI can help Clever build better software. Therefore we continuously work on integrating AI into our development process, and you will help shape how it should look in practice.

The role is not only about coding, but about the overall solution. Therefore we hope you are curious about the interplay between technology, business and user experience.

With us we don’t have classical titles. We have profiles. When we call the role ”backend developer”, it is so you and the rest of the world know who we are looking for. But when you start with us, your profile will be ”Responsible for backend development” – because that is exactly what you are.

Your everyday

Your everyday will, among other things, be filled with

• Backend development, operation and maintenance of the ordering and onboarding flow that supports the experience for new customers
• Development of C# .NET systems hosted in Azure
• Sparring and development to ensure high code quality
• Influence on development of new features in collaboration with the development team
• Support planning of our development projects
• Integration and maintenance of Form.IO for handling forms and processing of customer data

Who are you?

• Have experience with backend development in .NET and C#
• Know how to work with Rest API, infrastructure as Code and Github Actions
• Have worked with cloud-based solutions, preferably in Azure
• Willing and eager to take responsibility for your solutions
• Think innovatively and are curious

We get extra excited if you

• Know Docker, Container Apps, VueJS, Next or React
• Have experience with CMS platforms
• Are curious about AI-assisted development and see opportunities in new tools

Your everyday

You will become part of the team Be Customer, which is responsible for Clever's ordering and onboarding flow. The team consists of a Product Owner, a technical project manager, a quality assurance specialist, a person responsible for cross-cutting coordination, a UX designer and two frontend developers.

We are a team with a high ceiling, strong engagement and a shared ambition to build solutions that make a real difference for our customers. We actively use each other for sparring and believe that the best solutions are created together.

At the same time you will become part of a larger developer community across Clever, which counts around 100 IT colleagues. Here we share knowledge, experiences and help each other lift the technical standards across the organization.
