Do you want to help create safe, meaningful and developing everyday life for infants or preschool children? Then you might be the person we are looking for at our institution Blomsten in Solrød Strand.

We are looking for a colleague for the infant section and one for the kindergarten, who meet children, parents and colleagues with recognition, positivity and professionalism – and who want to actively contribute to our community.

Our pedagogical foundation

In Blomsten we work from an appreciative view of children, where the relationship between child and adult is decisive. We create frameworks that support the children’s courage, curiosity, resilience and social skills.

For us, pedagogy takes place all day – in play, routines, transitions and interaction. We plan daily life based on the current group of children and deliberately balance structure and flexibility.

The infant section has 42 children, and the kindergarten has an annual child capacity of 65. We are organized in teams rather than classrooms. Collaboration across groups and spaces is a natural part of the day. Our structure therefore largely takes its starting point in what we share. It requires that you want to both go along, lead and take responsibility for the broad cooperation around all our children, while also having room to cultivate the small groups and the close relationships.

We plan and develop the pedagogical practice at staff and team meetings. Here we work among other things with pedagogical weekly plans, Scheme for Action, relationship and well-being measurements, No to Bullying and All With. We also focus on developing learning environments and use KIDS as a tool to support the pedagogical quality.

As an institution, we have two growth positions, which are currently located in the kindergarten. Here the institution is allocated resources for inclusive work as well as planned time for sparring on task solving. In addition, the entire staff group participates in competency programs, where we work with methods for inclusive community pedagogy.

Practical information

The positions are 37 hours per week. The hourly rate can be agreed if you wish. Working hours also include meetings and preparation. Employment will take place as soon as possible.

You will be employed according to the applicable collective agreement with BUPL, and paid according to relevant experience and qualifications. The salary range for the position is

34,600 NOK/month to 39,200 NOK/month. Both amounts exclude pension.

The salary span is stated for a 37-hour position.

Upon hire we will obtain child and criminal record checks as well as references.
