We are seeking an engaged maternity leave replacement for the position of clinical coordinator in Department 3 at Frederiksberg Municipality's Day Rehabilitation. Here you will play a central role in the daily coordination and development of nursing and support of the department's high professional level.

Frederiksberg Municipality will continue operating the temporary beds after January 1, 2027. But you will be required to participate in implementing the changes that will come with the Health Reform, including handling of medication.

You will be responsible for the professional leadership of the care team. A professionally strong and experienced group, motivated by the good care pathway, good collaboration and a good working environment.

It is a position with ample opportunities for professional and personal development. You should have a desire to work with implementation and development based on daily practice.

You will, together with the department head nurse, be responsible for planning, coordination and prioritization of the day's tasks.

You have a strong focus on the department's most complex nursing tasks, including assessment of new residents. You will participate in the department's nursing tasks with a view to professional development and training of both new and experienced colleagues, as well as handling nursing tasks across the building, e.g., blood sampling and intravenous treatment.

The care team in the department handles tasks related to both basic and complex nursing. There are instrumented tasks, such as wound care, injections, tube feeding, tube insertion, catheter insertion, blood sampling, swabs, medication handling, etc. But also many tasks of a more relational nature, where we come close to the citizens, as the focus is on person-centered and attentive care, which we highly value. As well as basic nursing in the form of personal hygiene, palliative care, oral care, nutrition, mobilization, etc.

In the department we have specialized in neurological rehabilitation – but we also have many other geriatric pathways.

You will lead the effort to ensure documentation practice is followed. We use Cura.

FKD is located at the beautiful Frederiksberg Hospital. We have 100 temporary inpatient beds and annually admit around 1200 citizens for a rehabilitation program after a hospital stay. In addition we receive citizens from their own homes for respite stays, for assessment stays and for palliative pathways.

The uncertainty that can be associated with starting in a new professional area is addressed with a structured introduction program and ongoing training during the first six months.

The position is full-time. If you have special wishes regarding the number of hours, we can discuss this. Working hours are daytime, e.g., 7-15 with weekend work every third week.

We are a multidisciplinary house with nurses, social and health care assistants and aides, occupational and physical therapists, administrative staff, service personnel, social worker and dietitian.
