An extra companion is sought for a man aged 66 in Hillerød

The citizen has hemiplegia and aphasia. He has a long delay in processing, but he can usually say yes or no. He uses a manual wheelchair with a motor aid, which the companion must push. He has epilepsy, but he does not have seizures. The citizen is sweet and pleasant to be with, and he likes routines. He needs help with outerwear, as he cannot use his arms. You may be lively and glad to tell about what you see and your surroundings. He needs help in eating situations.

The companion would really like to go on car trips, e.g., to look at ships, Plantorama, Slotsarkaden, Gilleleje.

The citizen has 15 hours per month for companionship, which is shared with another companion.

The companionship can alternate between weekdays and weekend.

Approximately 2-5 times per month, about 2-4 hours per occasion depending on what you are doing.

Arrangements are made in collaboration with the citizen's wife.

They have a handicap car with automatic transmission, which the companion must be able to drive. A driving license is therefore required.

One must help fasten the wheelchair in the car. Therefore a physically robust companion is sought.

Since the citizen has epilepsy, please complete our epilepsy courses. It consists of three short e-learning modules, which must be completed via your helper profile. It is a prerequisite for this position that you complete the epilepsy course. This takes max 1 hour, and you will be paid for it.

The position as companion is a part-time position.

The companion scheme is always used for self-chosen activities outside the citizen's home.

The citizen bears all expenses related to the companionship.

Hourly wage

Weekdays: Approximately DKK 170

Saturday: Approximately DKK 180

Sunday: Approximately DKK 190

The pay varies depending on where in the country the citizen lives.
