Are you my new helper?

My name is Tobias, I’m 35 years old and live in Svenstrup in Jutland with my fiancé, my disability is CP and I have a speech impairment.

I lead an active life with good humor and a fire in my belly. I have plenty of projects. I am trained as a web integrator from Roskilde Technical School.

My daily life revolves around playing Powerchair football, training in the gym and I am generally very active, and often out of the house. There can also be days where I am just at home relaxing.

The job as my helper consists of acting as my arms and legs and helping with the things I cannot do myself, which are expected in a normal daily life.

You must be able to function as my interpreter. It is not something you learn from day to day, but we will figure it out together.

There are many ways to help me, so it is something we figure out together and adapt to each other. Of course there are some areas where I cannot change the approach, but I believe in good dialogue.

I expect, when you are on duty, that you can adapt to my daily life, my pace and that you can be part of the community, as well as a fly on the wall when needed – meaning that you can put your own needs aside when you are at work.

About you

• You have a category B driver's license and willingness to drive a larger car.
• You are reliable.
• Flexible.
• You are ready to join a team with my other helpers.
• You are mature and responsible and see opportunities rather than limitations.
• You are positive and up for a good ping-pong both between you and me, but also with the others in the house.
• You are roughly around the same age as me.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible.

Hours: approx. 144 per month,

These tasks are planned by the individual case manager. The pay as a helper depends on which case manager you perform the work for.

It is the individual municipality's financial assessment and regulations we follow and pay according to. All information about salary will of course be available via your helper profile. All helpers receive holiday pay at 12.5% of the salary, which is paid into the Holiday Savings Account.
