Are you on a gap year, or are you looking for work during holidays or time off from your studies? We need substitutes for cleaning, laundry, and kitchen.

We offer a versatile job as a relief worker and on-call substitute.

If you have the desire and ability to work as an on-call substitute and holiday relief, then the job is for you. You will join our fixed team, where there will be shifts in cleaning, laundry and possibly in the kitchen. You are welcome to have experience and interest in working with cleaning, but it is not a requirement. We provide training in the various tasks and areas.

You will become part of Cross-functional functions at Rygårdcentret, which handle tasks in cleaning, laundry and kitchen. You will primarily be introduced to tasks in cleaning and the laundry, but if you want to try your hand at kitchen work, that is also an option.

Working hours can vary a little and are mainly on weekdays within the time window 7.00 – 15.00. There may be shifts on weekends and especially around holidays and vacations. The number of hours per week can vary depending on your and our needs and wishes from 5 to 30 hours per week.

In cleaning, we handle the daily cleaning across the entire Rygårdcentret, and you will among other things have to clean common areas, in residences and offices.

In the laundry, residents' clothes are washed, sorted, folded and handed out to residents in their homes.

Rygårdcentret is located in Hellerup and is a nursing home in Gentofte Municipality. We work with an open and service-minded approach, so you must be outgoing and able to communicate with our residents. Therefore it is important that you master the Danish language, both spoken and written.

There are many tasks to be solved across all departments, so you must be able to prioritise your work tasks and be good at collaborating.

Rygårdcentret consists of four departments with different target groups and professional profiles. Egelunden 1st floor, Birkelunden and Kastanjelunden each have 20 nursing home apartments. Poppelunden contains 22 specialized places, while Egelunden 2nd floor has 20 apartments, of which 10 are particularly allocated to younger citizens with dementia. In total, Rygårdcentret has 102 apartments.
