We are seeking a medical secretary/health administrative coordinator for a permanent full-time position in the Cardiology Clinic in Silkeborg with start date 1 December 2026 or by agreement.

Who are we?

You will become part of a secretary team of 23 dedicated colleagues spread across 3 campuses in Viborg, Silkeborg and Skive. Your primary workplace will be in Silkeborg, where you will be an important part of the daily life in the clinic. We work closely across campuses as we are one unit. There is room here for both professional deepening, sparring, everyday laughter and a helping hand when it is busy. We work closely together, both mono- and cross-disciplinary, because we know that a good patient journey is created together.

What will you do?

Your daily work may include

• Patient contact at the reception and on the phone
• Referral triage and distribution of referrals
• Documentation and writing in connection with patients’ contacts
• Scheduling for examinations and treatments
• Requesting samples and tests and following up on results
• Ensure correct registration and work with databases
• Participation in one of our professional teams within the specialty’s different subspecialties
• In time there is the possibility of becoming a key person within a specific area

When do we work?

Your normal working hours are on weekdays between 07:30 and 15:00.

Once you are well settled in the job, you will enter a duty cycle in which you work until 18:00 on an average every fourth weekday. In addition you have a weekend/holiday shift about 5 times a year. Shifts can be done from home, and you will of course be provided with the necessary IT equipment.

Who are you?

You are a trained medical secretary or health administrative coordinator (non-negotiable requirement), and you have experience with EPJ. If you have experience with cardiology, it is an advantage, but the most important for us is that you want to learn and become part of the team.

A bit about us

Cardiology consists of a 29-bed ward and a Day Clinic in Viborg and cardiology clinics in Silkeborg, Viborg and Skive.

We are one of the country’s largest cardiac departments outside university hospitals, and our cardiology clinics handle around 42,000 patient consultations annually.

We also have a large research activity in the Cardiac Research Unit with both medical research and self-initiated projects.

Salary and terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the field.
