Trane School & Børneby is seeking an engaged and present school pedagogue as soon as possible.

Welcome to Horne Børneby

Horne Børneby is part of Trane School & Børneby and is located in scenic surroundings with strong local communities. We are a small and manageable school with merged classes from kindergarten through 6th grade, where community, outdoor schooling and multidisciplinary collaboration are the core elements.

Each week we have a fixed outdoor schooling day, where children's curiosity and learning move from the classroom out into nature. This gives us ample opportunities to strengthen relationships, motor skills and learning across senses and subjects.

We have about 80 students at the school. In our SFO there are about 45 wonderful children and a group of cheerful, sometimes crazy, and active adults with strong teamwork.

We have independent SFO facilities and really good outdoor areas.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who

• Is passionate about working in the SFO and the primary years.
• Sees collaboration with colleagues and parents as a natural and important part of your role.
• Wants to work in a cross-disciplinary team and actively participate in the community.
• Masters both structure and spontaneity – and can bring calm, play and learning into the mix.
• Is educated as a pedagogue and would preferably have experience as a school pedagogue and with SFO (not a requirement).

About Trane School & Børneby

We are an organization with five departments – distributed across Tistrup, Horne and Thorstrup – working holistically with children and youths' lives and learning from 0-18 years. Our shared values are strong, decent and value-creating, and we believe that wellbeing and learning go hand in hand.

We work strategically with children's development in both academic and social communities and focus on transitions, parental collaboration and locally anchored solutions. This also applies in Horne, where parents are an active and important part of the children's village everyday life.

Employment terms

• The position is 30-37 hours, depending on agreement. The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
• Salary and terms of employment according to current collective agreement.
• Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis from week 43.
