About the position

As a resource educator in Area East you will be part of a professionally strong team that works across the area's early childhood services. You will support children with special needs, contribute to the development of inclusive child communities and work closely with staff, parents and cross-disciplinary partners.

In Area East we believe that all children do the best they can. Therefore we work from a resource-oriented and relational view of children, where children develop through secure relationships and meaningful communities. Inspired by the Care Gaze, we are focused on understanding the child's intentions and creating opportunities for participation.

As a resource educator you will, among other things

  • contribute to the development of inclusive practice in the area's early childhood services.

A strong professional community

You will be part of Area East's resource educator team, where professional sparring, collegial supervision and knowledge sharing are a natural part of the work.

In addition, resource educators meet across the day care areas for joint professional qualification, where knowledge, experiences and new perspectives are shared.

Several of the resource educators work with NUSSA programs, and all work from Frydlege as part of the shared professional approach.

We are seeking someone who

  • is a trained pedagogue and has experience from the early childhood services sector.

  • wants to work with children with special needs and their participation in communities.
  • can plan targeted pedagogical interventions with inclusion as the focal point.

  • is curious about one's own practice and can reflect on one's own perspectives and professional approaches.
  • articulates yourself clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • thrives in interprofessional collaborations and is happy to share your knowledge with others.
  • contributes positively to job satisfaction, well-being and a good working environment.
  • is flexible, proactive and sees opportunities rather than limitations.

A driver's license is a prerequisite.

We offer

  • a permanent position for 37 hours.
  • a varied and meaningful job with a great impact on children and families.
  • exciting and challenging tasks across the day care services.
  • high professional standards and good opportunities for sparring.
  • an engaged team with a focus on collective development.
