Area East, Troldeskoven seeks an educator for the kindergarten, re-advertisement

We are seeking a nurturing, playful and engaged pedagogue for our kindergarten department, who together with us will develop strong child communities and help ensure the children the best possible start in life.

In Troldeskoven our pedagogical practice takes its starting point in VLS (Vi Lærer Sammen) and the Care Approach. It gives us a shared professional foundation, where structure, presence and appreciative relationships create safe and developmental learning environments for all children.

We believe that clear frameworks and caring interactions are decisive for children's well-being, learning and development.

You will become part of a professionally strong team where we highly prioritise sparring, collaboration and joint development. We work continuously to develop our pedagogical learning environment and focus on what the children are interested in, so their perspectives have meaning in daily life.

In everyday practice we work with

• VLS - Vi Lærer Sammen about Language in collaboration with, among others, TrygFonden.
• Playful learning environments where children's voices are heard.
• Inclusive communities where relationships, safety and opportunities for participation are in focus.
• Parent collaboration, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation and written communication.
• The Care Approach from Børns Vilkår, including Little Children's Voices and The Strengthened Pedagogical Curriculum.
• Solbjørn, an educational care tool that strengthens the relationship between children and adults and provides space for children's perspectives through play.
• A shared view of children, where the child is seen as an independent, co-creating and competent actor in their own life, who develops in community with others.

About us

Troldeskoven is an integrated day-care institution in Area East in Esbjerg Municipality.

We have about 40 children in the kindergarten, distributed across two age-integrated groups as well as two nursery groups with 12 children each.

About the position

The position is 37 hours per week with start on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

There are good public transport options, as Troldeskoven is about a 10-minute walk from the stop at Sejstrup.

Salary and employment terms are determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, including the applicable provisions on local pay formation. Depending on a concrete assessment, qualification and/or job supplements can be agreed depending on the contents of the position and your experience and qualifications.
