Area Manager for Brøndbyvester Home Care – Create direction and lasting improvements

A new partnership with shared responsibility

Together with your leadership colleague you as duo leadership have the overall responsibility for around 80 employees in day and evening shifts. We work in multidisciplinary teams under the Elderly Care Act and have an adult team with citizens under the Social Services Act. We also provide nursing care in the citizen's own home and in our clinics. Our staff consists of social and health professionals, nurses and team coordinators. In addition, we have a dementia consultant, rehabilitation therapist and learning agent attached to our area.

Your upcoming leadership colleague is also new in the role with us, and you therefore have the opportunity together to shape your collaboration and set a common direction. You are not alone; you will become part of the home care leadership team with six area managers and the home care director, where sparring, joint development and leadership well-being are in focus.

A task that requires you to take hold and hold on

You step into an area where there is a need to strengthen structure, workflows and follow-up, and can build on the good initiatives that have already been launched. We are therefore seeking a leader who is motivated by creating overview and durable improvements together with the employees. You know that development requires clear priorities, perseverance and ongoing follow-up – and not only launching new initiatives.

Together with your duo partner you must

• Ensure stable operations, coherent citizen pathways and high professional quality.
• Create an overview of staffing, capacity and finances, and use data to prioritize and follow up.
• Strengthen team structure, cross-disciplinary collaboration and the individual professional disciplines.
• Be close to the employees and create a culture of learning, safety and shared responsibility.
• Ensure an engaging and inclusive collaboration with citizens and relatives.

You also play a central role in our project ”Future Home Care”, where we translate the Elderly Care Act into practice through, among other things, new team structures, meeting forums and learning agents. Your task is to implement the initiatives to work in everyday life and create value for the citizens.

• Is educated as a nurse with relevant leadership education and experience with management of home care and nursing.
• Creates direction and follows through with calm, presence and clarity.
• Works structurally, data-supported and follows decisions through to implementation.
• Listens and involves others, and can make decisions when required.
• Wants a committed leadership collaboration in close duo leadership and in the large leadership group, and to work persistently with development over time.

Practical information

The position as area manager is full-time with start date 1 January 2027 or by agreement. The workplace is Brøndbyvester Hjemmepleje, Glentemosen 1, 2605 Brøndby.
