Art Director

Are you an experienced Art Director with a strong eye for fashion and visual storytelling? Are you always ahead of the curve when it comes to industry and consumer trends?

Then you might be the Art Director we are looking for to develop and strengthen the visual identities of VILA and ROUGE EDIT. You will develop creative concepts and bring them to life through campaigns and larger productions, working closely with both internal colleagues and external partners.

YOUR TEAM

You will join our Marketing department, consisting of 15 dedicated and skilled colleagues. We collaborate closely across the team, and in your daily work, you will work particularly closely with our Senior Art Director, Senior Photographer and Marketing Coordinator. There is room for different perspectives and for bringing your creative ideas to life. Together, we work to develop and strengthen the visual identities of both VILA and ROUGE EDIT.

YOUR ROLE

As our Art Director, you will step into a newly created role where you will help develop and evolve the visual identities of VILA and ROUGE EDIT, with a key focus on content creation and art direction. You will be responsible for campaigns, lookbooks and in-sale materials, developing creative concepts and driving productions from initial idea to final material, while working closely with both internal colleagues and external partners.

More specifically, you will

• Develop and execute creative concepts and campaigns
• Drive larger photoshoots and productions, coordinating models, photographers, stylists, make-up artists and other internal and external contributors
• Develop lookbooks and sales materials as part of our content productions
• Find and book models for photoshoots
• Present initial ideas, concepts and final material to relevant stakeholders
• Act as a creative sparring partner on AI-generated content and contribute ideas for future content creation
• Follow up on content performance and develop VILA’s brand expression in line with the overall brand strategy

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced and hands-on Art Director who knows how to turn creative ideas into strong visual concepts. You enjoy staying up to date on fashion and visual trends and thrive in a creative environment where you manage several projects at the same time. You work independently, communicate clearly and combine a strong creative eye with a practical approach to bringing ideas to life.

We imagine that you

• Have solid experience as an Art Director, preferably within the fashion industry or a relevant lifestyle environment
• Have experience driving larger creative productions involving both internal and external contributors
• Have strong hands-on experience with art direction during photoshoots
• Have a strong portfolio that demonstrates your creative range and visual eye
• Are confident presenting creative ideas and concepts clearly to different stakeholders
• Are an advanced user of Photoshop and InDesign, while experience with AI-generated content is an advantage
• Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing
