Do you want to influence the professional quality, ensure the good patient journey and lead an engaged team? We are looking for you as our assistant head nurse for Ward S3-40, who shares our core values of care, responsibility, well-being and involvement.
The ward and primary tasks
Ward S3-40 is an interesting, low-threshold ward with 14 beds. We receive patients aged 18-72 years and primarily treat patients with affective mental disorders, but we also receive patients with a wide range of other mental disorders and social issues.
The ward is divided into entrances: the low-threshold Ward 40 and the high-threshold Ward 36. You will work in close collaboration with the assistant head nurse on Ward 36, to ensure a consistent approach across. As an assistant head nurse with us you will become a central key person and the important link within the ward. You ensure sparring and coordination between the head nurse, the medical group, the duty planner and the nursing staff.
At the same time you will have a close and present contact with both patients and relatives as well as our external partners. You will become an important part of the team and participate in everyday tasks.
As an assistant head nurse with us you have ample opportunity to shape your own role as well as the professional quality in both the ward and the overall organization. The interdisciplinary collaboration – both internally and externally – is a natural part of our daily life. We have a strong focus on the cohesive, good patient pathway, where involvement of both patients and relatives is highly valued.
Our approach to patients is solidly founded in SafeWards, Recovery and a strong relation- and de-escalation effort. We work with the goal that our professional responsibility and care ensure that the patient experiences as much well-being as possible during the hospitalization. And we work with coping strategies that are also sustainable after discharge.
We offer
- A good working environment: You will be part of a friendly and welcoming staff group with colleagues who are passionate about the target group and value succeeding with the complex tasks. Everyone contributes actively to maintaining and developing our positive and supportive working environment.
- Accessible leadership: Visible leadership that supports you in your daily life and prioritizes your personal and professional development.
- Thorough introduction: We help you get started with a comprehensive common and local introduction to all essential areas based on our Onboarding program.
- Competence development: Ongoing supervision as well as courses in e.g. relation- and de-escalation, Advanced Life Support and fire drills. We consistently prioritize education, knowledge sharing and continuing education.
