Job Description

At Netcompany we are seeking newly graduated candidates with a bachelor's degree who want a challenging, social and development-rich start to their careers as an 'Associate Consultant'. Do you want to help develop some of Denmark's most complex and societally critical IT solutions – in a role where software development, project management and close customer contact shape everyday life?

The role of 'Associate Consultant' is the same title in both areas (Application Service and Consulting). The difference mainly lies in how you work with customers and solutions, and which area matches your interests best – either a more project-oriented setup (Consulting) or a more long-term, team- and solution-driven setup (Application Services).

Responsibilities and technologies

As an Associate Consultant you contribute to ensuring the customer's needs are translated into the right technical solution. We use the technology that is right for the project and the customer. Therefore it is important that you enjoy working with new, varied areas and technologies to continually increase your knowledge.

A large part of our projects are based on web-based technologies such as Angular or React and Java or C# on a Java or .NET platform. In addition we work with many standard platforms from Microsoft, Salesforce, IBM, Oracle, Adobe, Snowflake, Guidewire, among others.

As an Associate Consultant you also contribute to all parts of the system development with a strong focus on the technical tasks. Your tasks and areas of responsibility will vary from project to project, and evolve over time – but your daily work will typically involve tasks such as:

• Setting up and developing frameworks as well as integrations
• Implementation of features in the user interface
• Configuration and development of extensions to standard platforms
• Automation of business processes such as batch jobs
• Develop tools and scripts for migrating large volumes of data

Our assignments include some of Denmark's most innovative and business-critical IT projects in the public sector, municipalities and Danish business life, and you will therefore help shape and improve everyday life for a large portion of the population.

About you

We envision that you are academically educated with a bachelor's degree or a diploma engineer in, for example, computer science, software, IT or similar. In addition we anticipate that you:

• Are a recent graduate or have a couple of years of experience – most important is that you are passionate about taking your career in IT to the next level
• Possess strong IT technical skills in object-oriented programming
• Have a basic understanding of software development and are motivated to develop your skills
• Think analytically, have a high drive and work in a structured manner
