As one of our skilled educators in the kindergarten needs to try other directions in life, Eltang School and Kindergarten is seeking a trained educator for our kindergarten with children aged 3-6 years.

We are looking for you who are passionate about creating safe, developing and inspiring play- and learning environments for children.

We are seeking a trained educator who

• Is passionate about working with children in the kindergarten age
• Can create safe relationships and meet the children with presence, clarity and warmth
• Can play – and dares to be silly, curious and engaged alongside the children
• Has an eye for children's perspectives and can create participation opportunities for all children
• Meets children, parents and colleagues with professionalism, curiosity and respect
• Can work purposefully with child communities, well-being, development, learning and formation
• Sees parental collaboration as an important part of the core task
• Is curious about their own practice and wants to develop it together with others
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Reflects, wonders and asks curious questions about our practice at team meetings
• Wants to contribute to a strong professional learning community

Qualifications

It is an advantage if you

• Have a calm nervous system that children can borrow from when they need help regulating themselves
• Are fond of play and movement and can plan and carry out physical activities
• Are familiar with documentation work – including preferably the competence wheel
• Can play guitar and sing a song, which the children find fun

Who are we

Eltang School and Kindergarten is a “village program” with about 135 lovely children from ages 3 to 13. We have an active and positive parent group and about 25 engaged staff.
