As one of our skilled kindergarten pedagogues needs to explore other directions in life, Eltang Skole og Børnehave is seeking a qualified pedagogue for our kindergarten with children aged 3-6 years.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating safe, development-oriented and inspiring play and learning environments for children.

We are seeking a qualified pedagogue who

• Is passionate about working with preschool-aged children
• Can build safe relationships and meet the children with presence, clarity and warmth
• Can play – and dares to be silly, curious and engaged together with the children
• Has an eye for children’s perspectives and can create participation opportunities for all children
• Meets children, parents and colleagues with professionalism, curiosity and respect
• Can work purposefully with child communities, well-being, development, learning and formation
• Sees parental cooperation as an important part of the core task
• Is curious about their own practice and wants to develop it together with others
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Reflects, wonders and asks curious questions about our practice in team meetings
• Wants to contribute to a strong professional learning community

Qualifications

It’s an advantage if you

• Have a calm nervous system that children can borrow from when they need help regulating themselves
• Are fond of play and movement and can plan and carry out movement activities
• Are familiar with documentation work – including the competency wheel
• Can play guitar and sing a song; the children find that fun

Who we are

Eltang School and Kindergarten is a “Village Arrangement” with about 135 lovely children from ages 3 to 13. We have an active and positive parent group and about 25 dedicated employees.
