ABOUT BØRNEGÅRDEN LEMTORP AND DAGPLEJEN IN LEMVIG MUNICIPALITY

The Dagplejen in Lemvig Municipality consists of approximately 65 children, 19 municipal Dagplejers, 1 supervising pedagogue, and a staff member in administration.

Børnegården Lemtorp is an integrated institution with about 100 children aged 0–6 years and 25 pedagogical staff. The distribution between educators and assistants is about 60/40.

ABOUT THE POSITION

A pedagogical leader will be recruited, who together with the manager will be responsible for leadership, organization, and development of the two institutions.

As the pedagogical leader you will handle a large portfolio of pedagogical and administrative tasks, requiring close collaboration with the manager, the pedagogical staff, parents, administration, PPR, health visiting, and others.

You will, through sparring, advice, and guidance, ensure that we in Dagplejen and at Børnegården meet the municipal requirements and expectations – including applicable legislation in the day-care sector as well as the municipality's policies.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who

• is educated as a pedagogue – preferably with leadership experience
• has pedagogical and special-pedagogical experience with children aged 0–6 years
• has a strong pedagogical profile and becomes the institution's professional beacon
• has knowledge of Dagplejen
• wants to also participate in the operations, for example with support hours for some of our children with special challenges or substitute hours
• has strong collaboration skills and thrives in close teamwork with your leader
• wants to create the best conditions for synergy between Dagplejen and Børnegården
• is good at communicating both in writing and orally, e.g. when you present to the staff in Dagplejen
• wants and has competences within work-time planning and substitute coverage
• has digital competences and an interest in learning the necessary IT systems
• can work independently, in a structured and systematic way
• is reliable and flexible with regard to varying working hours
• can stay calm, be present, and maintain an overview in a busy daily life and in pressured situations
• is willing to lead in different ways and see opportunities in everyday challenges

Salary

The salary is set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and Lemvig Municipality's salary policy.

The expected starting salary is at the level of 45,572 DKK per month excluding pension, depending on your previous leadership experience.
