About the job
Are you ready to start your career at one of Denmark's largest audit and consulting firms? Do you want to get to know companies from within and become part of a unique community? As our upcoming trainee you will have the opportunity to explore financial issues and ensure that everything adds up. If you want to dive into the numbers and are interested in discovering what others overlook, then you are the one we are looking for.
As a trainee with us, you will not only learn to become a skilled auditor - you will work with many different types of clients, which will develop your communication and teach you to be good at finding solutions. We see the auditor as a detective in the world of numbers, because as an auditor you must find the errors that others overlook. No day will be the same.
You can look forward to two fun, challenging, and educational years, where you will go through a structured training and development program together with the other new trainees, while gaining experience with accounting and auditing in an exciting daily life. At the same time, you will continue your studies alongside the job, with either HD or cand.merc.aud (depending on your school and educational background).
You will experience a steep learning curve and work within the following areas
- Understanding companies, products, markets, financial results and strategies. The companies cover a wide range, including manufacturing companies, retail, consulting firms, and more.
- Help companies with their annual report, stock-taking and general questions about their accounting, taxes, bookkeeping, VAT and much more. We work both from our office or on-site at the customers.
- Review and audit of companies' accounts.
- Professional sparring with colleagues.
- Training and instruction in internal digital tools, auditing, accounting and KPMG’s culture.
In addition, you can look forward to social events, Friday bars, Faxe Kondi and Pepsi Max ad libitum and your own chefs who take care of a good lunch.

We place great importance on you becoming part of a good social community. We do our best to support and motivate you all the way. You will never be alone on assignments and there will always be colleagues who can help you – no matter what you are facing.
You will receive a Koach and a mentor/buddy who ensure that you develop professionally and personally. Your mentor will help you with your questions and will be your steady support in your early days with us. Your Koach will help you set up and achieve your career goals and support you in the long term.
