Automation Technician for the Maintenance Department at LINAK Profiles

Are you a skilled automation technician with a passion for maintenance and optimization of production equipment? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team that works with robot technology and automated systems in welding, stamping and powder coating? Then you are the one we are looking for for our maintenance department at LINAK Profiles Rønsdam 60, 6400 Sønderborg.

In the team there are 4 guys who are really sharp in mechanics, welding and welding robots, but we need someone with a more electrical background with flair for PLC and controls. The position is on a permanent day shift, but there may be changes in connection with holidays.

At LINAK Profiles we are in constant development and focus on optimizing our processes and production equipment. We have several initiatives in progress with new production equipment, which will make production more smooth and make the workday easier for our operators and maintenance staff.

Primary tasks

• Systematic maintenance of production equipment
• Troubleshooting and fault correction of PLC-controlled systems and machines
• Production optimization of equipment in collaboration with production technicians and operators
• Systematic fault finding, fault correction and repair of pneumatic/electrical systems and controls
• Preparation of technical documentation, instructions and guides
• Assisting in the purchase of production equipment

You

• are a skilled automation technician or have another relevant education and have a good knowledge of production equipment, PLC preferably Siemens.
• are flexible and willing to jump from one task to another when the work requires it, and willing to take on tasks that do not fall under the workshop's normal area of work
• demonstrate professional pride and stay ahead of the condition of production equipment so that within your area it is optimally maintained and continuously improved
• are service-minded, result-focused, quality-conscious and a stable worker
• are independent, proactive and can stay calm under pressure
• contribute to valuable collaboration and are a good team player.
• can operate in Danish, English and preferably German
• have a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one.
