About the job
Have you just finished school, or have you taken a gap year and would like an education where you learn something real from day one? Then a sales apprentice position at ET Europe might be for you.
You will become part of our small Sales & Purchase team, where you learn to work with orders, complaints and goods – and take on more responsibility as you become ready for it. You do not need to have experience. We will teach you what you need to know.
About the apprenticeship
You will be trained as a sales assistant with a focus on back-office Sales over 2 years, of which 8–12 weeks take place in school at IBC Kolding. You start with thorough training in our systems and processes, and your tasks grow as you learn more.
Among the things you will work with
- Orders in SAP – you enter them, monitor them and ensure they are sent off on time
- Dialogue with warehouse and shipping about orders, pickups and product samples
- Complaints in Claimlane and the RMA inbox
- Creation of products in CoolPIM and SAP and updating delivery times
- Purchase orders and follow-up with suppliers
- Responding to inquiries from customers in our info inbox
- How-to guides and manuals that make everyday life easier for the whole team
When you are well started
You take responsibility for our complaints and for product registrations on customer portals, and you help develop how we do things even easier.
This is how the everyday looks
No day is exactly the same. Some days are busy, and tasks change quickly – you learn to handle it, and you never do it alone. We are a small team that helps each other.
You’re probably the right one if you…
- like structure and are happy when you can tick things off on your to-do list
- are curious and want to learn new things
- take responsibility for your tasks and ask when you are unsure
- enjoy helping customers and have a natural service mindset in you – also on the phone (you will quickly become comfortable with it)
- have completed HHX or EUX (the study eligibility program) – or HTX, STX or HF with a 5-week EUS5 program from a business school
Language: You can handle Danish and English. German is a huge plus, and we expect you to be able to handle German – you do not need to be fluent.
It might not be right for you if you…
- would rather have the same tasks every day
- do not want to talk to customers and suppliers
- think it’s tedious to work with systems and details
That’s why it makes sense to be here
- You get to know the whole company. Your training plan takes you around – from how the office works to how we pack orders in the warehouse.
- You get a supportive on-site manager and honest feedback. You receive ongoing, constructive feedback on your tasks from your coach and your colleagues.
- You get real responsibility. After training, you will own the complaints and customer portals. You can use that for something – also on your CV.
- You are part of something bigger, ET Group/Coolshop. You will visit our office in Nørresundby with +300 colleagues and 30,000 sqm warehouse.
- You are never alone. We are a small team that helps each other when it’s busy – and celebrates it when it works.
- You can stay. There is an opportunity for a career at ET Europe after your apprenticeship.

We would really like to get to know you – so we would greatly appreciate if you would make a short video presentation where you tell a little about yourself and why this apprenticeship is right for you.
One of the answers should be in German. It is not to tease you – it’s because you will use it every week.
