Backup cook wanted for Sauntehus Castle Hotel in Hornbæk

At Sauntehus Slotshotel in Hornbæk we are looking for a skilled and flexible reserve cook who can step into the kitchen in case of illness, holidays, busy periods and events.

Sauntehus Slotshotel is located in beautiful, historic surroundings close to Hornbæk, the beach and forest. We provide the setting for hotel stays, restaurant visits, events and various activities.

About the job

As a reserve cook you will be an important part of our kitchen team and have a varied daily life, where you will among other things work with:

• Preparation and plating of food for the restaurant and events
• Preparation and mise en place of food for the day’s service
• Breakfast, lunch and dinner service as needed
• Banquets, parties and events
• Ensuring high quality and good hygiene in the kitchen
• Contributing positively to collaboration in the kitchen

We are looking for someone who can work independently, maintain an overview in a busy service and at the same time be a good colleague.

We imagine that you

• Have experience from a professional kitchen – preferably as a cook or caterer
• Are professionally skilled and have an interest in good ingredients
• Work in a structured and efficient way
• Are flexible and can step in with short notice
• Want to work with both the restaurant and events
• Are positive, responsible and reliable

The most important thing is not necessarily how many years you have on your CV – but that you master your craft, take responsibility and want to be part of a kitchen where quality and the guest experience are at the center.
