Sustainability Agent for Aalborg Municipality's Procurement Department

Do you want to help make a concrete difference for Aalborg Municipality's procurement and consumption?

In AK Procurement's sustainability team we work purposefully to translate the municipality's green ambitions into more sustainable purchases. With about 17,500 employees and consumption of everything from pens to food, there is a large potential in both the products we buy and the way we use them.

You will work with a wide range of tasks within green consumer behavior, sustainability, and communication, and you will itself be a major part of defining your own tasks. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with many stakeholders across the municipality as a business, and it is therefore important that you are good at meeting different people at eye level. In addition, it is important that you are able to independently develop initiatives to promote green behavioral changes through, among other things, user involvement and strategic communication.

Qualifications

We expect that you

• Have a relevant higher education degree in, for example, sustainability, social sciences, public administration or similar.
• Have at least one year's experience with developing and implementing sustainable behavior initiatives in a larger organization.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills and experience with preparing professional presentations.
• Thrive in giving presentations to both smaller and larger groups in Danish and English.
• Can work independently, and self-structure and plan your tasks.

Practical

The position will be filled as soon as possible by arrangement. The employment is as a rule full-time. Salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement.

Who are we?

AK Procurement is Aalborg Municipality's procurement department. We are 20 employees with various backgrounds and tasks within procurement and tendering, of whom two are dedicated to working with sustainability and green procurement. As a sustainability agent you will join the sustainability team and work closely with sustainability controller Mikllas Visti Peters Jensen as your closest colleague.
