Bankagerskolen seeks as of December 1, 2026 (or as soon thereafter) a teacher with teaching competence in:

Mathematics (currently at the middle school level)

German (currently in 6th and 7th grade)

Possibly English, Religion and Social Studies

Additionally, it would be very interesting if you, for example, have music.

We are a large school, so you should not hesitate to apply, even if your teaching competencies are only in some of the subjects.

Bankagerskolen is a well-run and development-oriented school located in the southern part of Horsens. The area is an attractive residential area with an engaged and resourceful parent group that greatly supports the school.

The good cooperation at the school is highlighted by both parents and staff. The school generally has high well-being among the students and generally good results. The school is an open-plan school, which means that openness and helpfulness are at the forefront among the school's nearly 800 students and about 100 staff. The school is growing and has 3-4 streams in each year group.

Bankagerskolen is divided into two phases – Phase 1 and Phase 2 – where Phase 1 consists of After-school Care (SFO) + K-3, and Phase 2 of 4-9. We have prioritized that there are two leaders in both phases to support staff in daily work.

About the position

We are seeking an ambitious and development-oriented teacher with teaching competence in the above subjects.

You should be passionate about the role of class teacher and the tasks that come with this role. You will become part of a strong academic community together with skilled colleagues, whom you can rely on, who are ready to help you.

In principle, this is a full-time position with permanent employment.

Requirements for the position

You are a trained primary school teacher, have a natural professional interest in and knowledge of both good teaching and good pedagogy, as well as a curiosity to explore different approaches to the teaching task.
