SvanePleje Odense is seeking a maternity leave substitute for our Physiotherapist starting 7 December 2026.

Svane Pleje has 25 years of experience in private home care and is facing an exciting future after the implementation of the new Elderly Act from 1/7-25. We focus on self-determination, quality of life and involvement of civil society — values that are central to us.

About the position

The position as physiotherapist at SvanePleje entails many tasks, and it is a prerequisite that you can see yourself as a generalist and want to take broad professional responsibility. We are looking for a physiotherapist who can strengthen our multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the implementation of the new Elderly Act in collaboration with the department head, planners and key persons.

Your day will be relatively self-managing, where you will most often start out with the clients. Here you will have responsibility for rehabilitation, retraining and prevention, where you assess citizens and create individual action plans. In addition, you will have administrative tasks, such as ordering aids, documenting, and following up on data in connection with quality assurance. You will also participate in competence development as well as team meetings.

The most important thing is that you want to “go across” tasks, enjoy sharing knowledge and support your colleagues so we succeed together with the core task.

You will be based in our Odense department and cover the Odense municipality. It will be possible to have professional sparring with therapists in other municipalities, and it may occur that you will support colleagues and tasks in other nearby departments.

Application and employment conditions

We offer employment in a maternity leave substitute position of 35 hours per week, where you can arrange your weekly working hours yourself, typically on weekdays between 07:00–16:00.

The position is to be filled from 7 December 2026.
